32.005; General Dynamics
F16 A/B RNeth AF Squadron Badges Low Visibility. This set has the possibility
of covering any Dutch aircraft as there is a complete set of serials
provided as individual numbers .The following Sqns are covered ,306 ,311
,312, 313 ,314 ,315 316 ,,322 ,and 323 .Also in this set is a low Vis
tail band for the Leeuwarden based aircraft. The option of different
types of badges is also covered. As a final addition appropriate
"rescue" markings are included.
All of these sheets are well printed and the
colour density is very good, the colour is also very intense. The smaller
details are all there and register is good. All of the printing is done in a
gloss finish. At first they appear to be thick but once on the model
this is not so apparent and a couple of coats of clear will negate this. The
instructions are clear and although only black and white copies they are
adequate for the task( they also include painting guides where
appropriate and cross reference to XtraColour and Humbrol paints) .Each
sheet covers several aircraft so you will be getting lots for your money
with some spares. On two of the sheets reviewed there were national
roundels however the other two are only Sqn badges.
Additional markings like stencils and national roundels will have to be
found else where. These sheets are a very welcome addition to the
growing band of smaller Airforce decals. You can find out more about the
range of growing Dutch Decals at his web site
http://www.dutchdecal.nl/
or you can email him direct at
info@dutchdecal.demon.nl
, I would recommend these decals for anyone who
wants to do a Dutch aircraft .
Our thanks to Luuk Boerman for the review
samples.
