1/32 Kfir - Revell kit with
TAC Scale conversion

F/A-18A
This
F/A-18 is mostly the old Revell kit with the Hasegawa cockpit, main landing
gear, and horizontal tailplanes mixed in. The fuel tank is the F-15 style tank
from the Rev-Mono retooled RF-4C cut down to size. Decals are from Superscale.
Also added are Model Technologies photo etched cockpit set and boarding ladder.
The pilot is Verlinden's Top Gun pilot with a different head and cut to fit on
the ladder.

AH-1W
This
is MRC's 1/35 AH-1W. I've almost completely reworked the cockpit and main &
tail rotors. Decals are custom for the most part. I've added a Revell AIM-9
Sidewinder on top of the winglets where they did some trial testing for the
mountings. Operational Cobras can carry AIM-9's under the winglets in place of
the TOW or Hellfire missiles.

F-16C
This
is the Hasegawa F-16A converted to an F-16C using the Revell kits horizontal
tail planes, ACES II ejection seat, lower part of the vertical tail, and
centerline tank. Among the scratch built items are, the landing chute housing on
the tail, the formation light fairings on the intake, and the open Hydrazine
tank bay next to the open 20mm cannon bay. Extras include Model Technologies
photo etch and decals are mainly Superscale. I have since redone the tail
markings by removing the red flash, which actually belongs to "The
Bats" 119th Sq. and painted on a large bird in the light sand color as is
the current custom in F-16 squadrons.

F-5E
I've
done Hasegawas F-5 pretty much straight out of the box without a lot of
modifications. Additions include a TAC Scale Dynamics seat, Reheat's Modern Air Force pilot with a reworked survival vest and
Top Gun helmet markings, and Superscale decals.

RF-4C
This
is Revell-Monogram's retooled RF-4C. I've added markings I made myself as well
as scratchbuilding the cockpit walls and almost totally reworking the seats.
Model Technologies photo-etch and a pair of Sidewinders from the spare parts box
round it out.
