I returned to the hobby in 92, and divide up my time between plastic, radio control and I have restored several full sized aircraft - Ercoupe, Stinson, Cessna 170.

I have an absolute blast building plastic kits, however my philosophy is to have fun: no model is better than another as long as the builder had fun: I would enjoy any modeler contacting me for info on any project I have completed.

Westland Lysander

Matchbox kit; 1st model built after return mostly out of the box, These are great kits if you can find them, everything fits and I think produces a pretty nice looking aircraft right from the box: No decals - all markings painted.

DeHavilland Mosquito

Revell Kit, about a year to complete, lotta warps and a lotta scratchbuilding! Complete interior scratchbuilt; all markings painted (no decals). Weathering done with pastels. Flaps cut out and dropped, canopy cut open,  hatches cut open.

Bristol Beaufighter

Revell kit Not much here to really work with except the wing halves and fuselage: Full forward and aft cockpit scratchbuilt. Landing gear scratchbuilt: aluminium tube and plastic rod (about 200 pieces per gear) all markings painted (no decals) Vacuum formed canopies, about a two year project but my favourite!
